Introduction
The Ethiopian pulses, oilseeds and spices sector is one of the leading sectors that contributes significant foreign exchange to the country.
The Ethiopian Pulses, Oilseeds and Spices Processors Exporters Association (EPOSPEA), established in 1998, deals with the sector’s topics, with the objective of building the capacity of the industry players to become key participants in the global market. EPOSPEA also facilitates and supports the sector’s development through carefully selected strategies and action plans. Hence, EPOSPEA has more than 450 active members who take advantage of country policies of the sector.
In line with the objective to build the capacity of the sector, The Ethiopian Pulses, Oilseeds & Spices Processors – Exporters Association in collaboration with The Ministry of Trade Regional Integration collaborate in hosting the successfully concluded International Conferences on Pulses & Oilseeds annually.
The last all ten International Conferences of the sector, which were hosted with the themes “Ethiopia the Lands of Crop Diversity”, “Agri-Commodity trade: Challenges and Opportunities”, “International Marketing of Agricultural Commodities”, “Global Partnership for Sustainable Market Growth”, “Strategic Plat Form for Sustainable Market Creation” , Agri- Commodity Marketing for Sustainable Global Trade”, Africa the Future Sustainable Oilseeds and Pulses Supply”, “Cultivating strategic partnership” and “Strategic Partnership in Agri-commodity Trade“ respectively, were successful mottos of the time which were hosted at Sheraton Addis, UNECA conference hall and Intercontinental Addis Hotel and Ellily hotel during different time settings.

About EPOSPEA
Ethiopian Pulses, Oilseeds and Spices Processors-Exporters Association (EPOSPEA, was established in 1998 with the objective of building the capacity of its members to make them competitive in global market. Currently EPOSPEA has more than 450 active members who take advantage of the favorable country’s policies for the sector.
The Association endeavors are meant to serve, promote and protect the interest of its members, build their capacity to participate and compete in the global market and contribute for economic development of the country. III. The Eleventh International Conference on Pulses and Oilseeds
EPOSPEA is thrilled to announce the official dates for our next 11th International Pulses and Oil seeds conference which will take place on November 15-16, 2022 in Sheraton Addis, Ethiopia. This year conference brought a triumphant return to in-person events for the global pulses and oil seeds industry.
This is the largest event in Eastern and sub Saharan Africa. Expect exclusive market information, fabulous networking opportunities and a few surprises at our annual Pulses convention.
Ethiopia is a huge player in the global pulses and oil seeds market. It will be a fantastic opportunity to make connections and gain great insights.
